CLAIMS: integrated control of high-rise buildings.

Despite the difficult financial situation, the main construction and separation work of the Burj Dubai Tower ended. The Tower rises in the elite district of Dubai and reaches an altitude of 818 metres. It is now the highest building in the world. Many of the most complex tasks were resolved during construction. The model methods and procedures for the geodetic construction of the building did not satisfy builders on the accuracy, reliability, speed and reliability of the results. This publication describes new techniques and technology operations for geodetic maintenance.

Tower design

Burj Dubai is the main part of the project, which includes the high hotels, parks, Dubai Moll gallery and the Burj Dubai reservoir. Tower Burj Dubai has hotels, residences, offices and apartments.

Construction was assigned to Samsung Engineering Construction, a group with the Belgian company Besix and an Arabtec company from the United Emirates. The project used bold engineering ideas and used sophisticated delivery and storage of construction materials and engineering equipment. The main construction work at the site has now been completed. About 10,000 people worked daily before the end of the facility.

The building was built on the pillars. More than 200 metal concrete poles with a diameter of 1.5 metres and a depth of more than 50 m support 3.7 metres of ferrobétonic core stove. The Tower Building consists of three separate wings located at 120° to the central axis.
